The group at CNET has a preview on the Nikon D80 where they state, 'Since the D80 is geared toward the midrange, it also includes six scene modes, plus a full auto mode, and program, manual, and shutter- and aperture-priority modes. Nikon also included some in-camera editing, such as red-eye correction, cropping, and filter-effects, as well as the same D-Lighting exposure correction found in its point-and-shoot cameras. Plus, the D80 can shoot multiple exposures, combining as many as three consecutive shots to create a single image. According to Nikon, the D80 will shoot continuously at as fast as 3fps for as many as 100 Fine Quality M-size (a.k.a. less than full resolution) or smaller JPEGs or 6 raw images.'
